Alphacution Press: Jane Street’s Dominance in Taiwan Sparks Goldman Challenge

Alphacution quoted in Bloomberg‘s October 15, 2025 article ($) by Betty Hou on how Jane Street Group’s dominance in Taiwan – a lucrative and booming corner of the exchange-traded fund world related to US corporate debt and Treasuries – is drawing big-money challengers including Goldman Sachs.

“The barriers to entry and the moats — the infrastructure investment, the human capital investment — are such that you can’t turn these regions on and off” easily, said Paul Rowady, director of research at Alphacution Research Conservatory, a US-based advisory firm. Ultimately, gaining share will require a significant investment, he added.
