Ross HamiltonChief Information Officer and Managing Director at IDE International

Ross Hamilton is the Chief Information Officer of IDE-International, a global product and services company designed to help clients manage their business transformation programs. Using data and analytics to drive insight and innovation, IDE-International helps cities and businesses innovate and transform to provide smarter services, improve citizen and customer engagement and generate economic growth. Ross leads the company’s strategic offerings in the North American market. Ross is a 20+ year executive and program manager with experience in developing, managing and delivering large-scale business transformation programs across financial services and technology.  He has a strong record of working with global investment banks and premier financial institutions on custom solution development programs, including JPMorgan, Goldman Sachs, Deutsche Bank, Citibank, UBS, Credit Suisse, Barclays, Fannie Mae, National Australia Bank and Morgan Stanley. Ross has extensive knowledge of the financial services market and has led and delivered business-driven and advanced technology projects across FX/Options, Fixed Income, Structured Products, Emerging Markets, Commodities and Interest Rate Derivatives. Project domains have included institutional e-commerce, trading, sales, pricing, risk and operational systems. Ross earned a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng) in Aerospace Engineering from University of Glasgow, Scotland. He is also a founding member of the GlobalScot business network, providing Scottish companies with advisory and market intelligence services.

Peter Lankford, Founder and Director, Securities Technology Analysis Center (STAC)

Since 2006, Peter has guided STAC on its mission to reduce the enormous time and effort the finance industry invests in evaluating high technology. Working closely with both user firms and technology vendors to understand the biggest technical challenges and the most promising innovations, Peter has catalyzed industry benchmark standards in areas such as time-series analytics, risk simulations, and processing of very high-speed data. Peter has 26 years of experience in technology and financial services. Prior to STAC, he was SVP of the the $240M market data technology business at Reuters and held management positions at Citibank, First Chicago, and operating-system maker IGC. Peter has an MBA, Masters in International Relations, and Bachelors in Chemistry from the University of Chicago.

Sang LeeCofounder and Managing Partner at Aite Group

Sang Lee Sang Lee is a co-founder of Aite Group and currently serves as managing partner. Mr. Lee’s expertise lies in the securities and investments vertical and has advised many global financial institutions, software/hardware vendors, and professional services firms in sell-side and buy-side electronic trading technology and market structure. Prior to joining Aite Group, Mr. Lee was a founding member of Celent Communicationsand served as the Manager of the Securities & Investments Group as well as the Operations Group. At Celent, Mr. Lee played a pivotal role in creating and growing one of the leading Securities & Investments practices in the financial services research industry. Prior to Celent, Mr. Lee served as a business strategist for ZEFER, an industry-leading Internet professional services firm in Boston. At ZEFER, Mr. Lee formulated Internet business strategies for Fortune 1000 clients.Previously, Mr. Lee was an analyst at Meridien Research, where he analyzed the online strategies of some of the world’s leading brokerage firms. Mr. Lee also worked for D. E. Shaw Financial Technology, where he was responsible for business development and marketing. At D.E. Shaw, Mr. Lee conducted market research and competitive analysis, as well as spearheading partnership programs. He played an instrumental role in the sale of D.E. Shaw Financial Technology to Merrill Lynch. Mr. Lee received his BA from the University of Michigan and his MA from Columbia University. Mr. Lee is fluent in English and Korean.

Jacob Loveless, IT Infrastructure Specialist and former CEO, Lucera Financial Infrastructures

Jake Loveless has over 15 years of experience building and scaling network focused companies in both government and financial verticals. Most recently he was founder and CEO of Lucera, the largest Software Defined Network company in financial services. Lucera was utilized by 7 of the top 10 banks globally and experienced 34 months of consecutive double digit growth under his command. Prior to Lucera, Mr. Loveless was a Senior Partner and Global Head of High Frequency Trading at Cantor Fitzgerald for over 10 years. Prior to Wall Street, Mr. Loveless was CTO of Data Scientific, a DoD software provider which was sold to Serena Software in 2003. Mr. Loveless was awarded 2014 Thought-Leader Award at Open Network User Group for his work in low latency software defined networks. He is a frequent lecturer at the NYU Courant Institute for mathematics with a focus on heuristics, and was recently featured in the ACM and the book “Natural Computing”, alongside pioneers such as David Shaw (D.E. Shaw) and Nancy Leveson (MIT/NASA).

Dushyant Shahrawat, Managing Director at FINTECH Associates, LLC

Dushyant Shahrawat is a 20-year veteran of the financial services industry, a CFA holder and a MIT Sloan Fellow. Over his career working at Fidelity Investments, ThomsonReuters, TowerGroup and CEB, he has advised executives at financial institutions, technology firms, VCs, regulators and startups, on strategy, product development, regulation and tech strategy. He is a well recognized thought leader and passionate about technological innovation, and how new digital models are transforming our lives. From 2014-2015, he was a MIT Sloan Fellow studying Innovation and Entrepreneurship across the MIT and Harvard ecosystem. He is a mentor/advisor at the MIT Media Lab helping student-led startups raise capital, develop go to market strategies, and foster partnerships with the financial industry. Dushyant has been quoted in print media, appeared on TV and Radio, been invited to speak at industry conferences across 20 countries, keynoted executive sessions, and chaired several conferences. He serves on the Advisory Board of multiple FinTech startups (Exim Chain, Innosect, StockViews), Institutional Investor’s Chief Investment Officer Forum, Mercy College’s Center for Ethics and Leadership, and advises the MIT Media Lab on various projects.

Mark Temple-Raston, PhD, CDO and Chief Data Scientist at Decision Machine

Mark Temple-Raston has over 20 years of global experience as an innovator and senior executive in the financial services and information technology industries. Currently he is Chief Data Officer, Chief Data Scientist and Founder of Decision Machine. Decision Machine performs advanced data science analyses, and has an innovative data science product built from the ground up using the formal scientific method. Prior to founding Decision Machine in 2015, Mark was the Global Head for Enterprise Architecture in Citigroup’s Chief Data Office (CDO), and Global Head for Data Management in Citigroup’s Global Enterprise Architecture Governance Group. Before Citigroup, Mark was an enterprise architect and analyst in financial services, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, logistics and aerospace.  Mark holds a doctorate in Applied Mathematics and Theoretical Physics from the University of Cambridge, England.

Audra Tiner, CEO at Articulate Communications

Audra Tiner is the CEO at Articulate and has spent over 15 years working with clients in the financial services and technology sectors. She taps her deep industry knowledge to help her clients create consistent corporate messaging, devise global strategy and execute analyst, media, internal communications, marketing and social media campaigns.  Throughout her career, Audra has worked closely with senior executives at brand names such as Intel, Thomson Reuters and Sapient; market-defining players in the financial services and technology space including Portware, DTCC and BAE Systems; and pioneering start-ups and industry groups like Dataminr, Social Alpha and the EDM Council.  PR SourceCode has named Audra a Top Tech Communicator – a distinction designed to recognize the 30 best technology PR practitioners in the U.S., determined by editorial staff from more than 300 IT publications. Audra developed her expertise earlier in her career with roles at SeeBeyond (now Oracle), Progress Software and Cambridge Technology Group. She holds a bachelor’s degree cum laude from Brandeis University. Additionally, she serves on the Board of Directors at LSA Family Health Service in New York, NY.
